Founded in 2019 by a team of type designers, letterers, graphic, brand, and 3D artists, Type01 Ltd. specializes in type-focused media across different platforms, including Type01, a bi-annual magazine, as well as other ways of celebrating, supporting, and empowering people in professional and creative growth. Type01's mission is to champion and support the craft of type and design. Covering a wide variety of topics, they use type as a gateway to start conversations; to spotlight current and future generations of talented people around the world. Each issue uses layout and cutting-edge typography to complement written content meant to inform and inspire. From trend-spotting, to pushing boundaries, to exploring historical usage, Type01 uses type as a conceptual starting point to open up discussions around culture, business, innovation, technology and design.
