About this product:
Field Notes owe their existence to a tradition of promotional memo books distributed to American farmers over the last hundred years by seed, tractor, and agricultural companies. Field Notes co-founder, Aaron Draplin, had been collecting them for years, “rescuing them” from obscurity. Each cover is printed with a scene from a different national park, designed by different artists. They are made in the U.S. and come in packs of three, featuring different colored cover stocks for each book. The series includes 6 different sets of three. Each booklet is printed with graphed grids in beige soy ink on "bright white" paper. Each notebook features facts and histories regarding its respective park. Field Notes donates 5% of sales from this series to the U.S. National Park Service.
